My first ever racing in a class that’s not test and tune! Not bad for a first timer. Made it to the final 4. 2018 Golf R - DTR 6054, Cobb Downpipe and Intake, Do88 fmic, EQT Lpfp, Autotech Hpfp, BFI Trans,Motor and dog bone mounts. EQT 93oct tune. I should mention this is my 2nd revision with snow tires and it’s 45 degrees outside. Got the car dyno’d again after adding a new Cobb front Mount intercooler. Made 448hp-450tq. Added basically another 20hp from a better flowing intercooler setup. Sounds and looks great! I'm still running the OTS APR tune with mine, but I leaning towards a custom EQT tune with a DP eventually. Did you run the APR tune with yours at all? Just curious how much of a difference a custom tune is.

Thanks for the upvote, cant afford subs anymore. But nobody has done what Freeek has done for this platform. Even if its Freeek against the Mazdaspeed team, my money is on the man himself. every time.
Do you also have upgraded (5-bar) boost sensors or are you still on the stock sensors?

It's just fun! Because the car really wants to play DRAG, it must also look at the car condition factor! But normally speaking, the acceleration of SPEED6 is faster than that of SPEED3

Neither of us have these cars anymore. I still have my gen1 with the S4. Pretty much I could go PI and get a little more out of it. But I’ve been currently doing shit to my Golf R to hit 10s in the next month.

Def has potential for 10s. I did a 11.5 @ 121. Track prep was awful because it was the first day it was open and temps were super cold so all I did was spin 1st
Have you dynoed the car yet? I'm about to drop the DTR kit in my GTI soon and haven't heard much about the turbo on GTI that is.
I haven’t yet but I did just run a 11.5 @ 121. Tune isn’t finished and temps were super low so I was getting awful 60ft.

Mazda 3 2.5 hatch and the speed 3 are slept on cars the speed 3 is great out the gate but if you build that 2.5 or even the bottom end of the 2.3 they rip
Speed is waay quicker than the 2.5
Ms3 are perfect for roll races they can't launch but in a roll race with full bolt on you better watch out. 😀

I have a 2008 speed 3 but I’m always gonna be a dsm guy and still have a 2g eclipse gst. This speed can easily take on the EvoX but I don’t think the outcome will be the same if he goes up against the true 4g63t. This evo motor is trash!! Got to love the Mazdaspeed 3 beautiful can and sounds amazing!!! Good clip brother!
You're acting liked hes getting pulled by 100kms hahaha now let's be honest.. it was like 6 feets difference and 100% sure if you were racing from 0.. you'll get pulled over.. mazdaspeed 6 is heavyer they mazdaspeed 3 but at least if the race was from 0.. he's 4wd so you get pulled savagely
He never left your side - I mean 6 ft diff between you both... when you honked the horn simply means you got that split second lead to gain 6 ft. That’s not “getting pulled”
The only thing to counter that is the fact the 3 is FWD drive in the rain vs the AWD traction.
I owned both a speed3 and i now have a spee6 ill admit that the speed3 was faster only because of the difference in weight

Character driver this was also 8 years ago. At this point that speed6 in the video has a built motor and a BWS300. The 6 is so rusty it’s unsafe to drive. He just bought a stock speed6 that is his donor car to transplant everything over from the other 6. Myself I trade in this speed3 back in 2013. I currently have a gen1 with a built long block from Overspeed with a BNRS4.
@@SlowST I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'm starting a rebuild on the motor in my 6 and it's so rusty that I'll have to get a donor car eventually too. When it's done it will have a BNRS4 and sn accessport waiting for it though lol.

Haha just saw this comment! Yea man Meth does wonders I wasn’t a believer at first. Engine has been awesome. I’ve put around 2k on it now and drove it daily over the summer. Jordan does great work and he has great customer service. Which speed do you have?
